We’re excited to launch a district-wide reading initiative where our entire community comes together through the power of storytelling. This year, we’ll be exploring two incredible books featuring the same beloved character, written by the same talented authors!

PreK–Grade 1: Finding Winnie
Grades 2–5: Winnie’s Great War

These stories will spark meaningful conversations in classrooms, homes, and across the community.

As we continue our Red Ribbon & Halloween Spirit Week tomorrow, Thursday, October 30th is Thrilling Thursday. “Pandas will Pound the Pavement” in the morning and make healthy choices. Wear comfy-cozy attire!

Our Halloween Parade will be Friday, October 31st at 11 am. Come and see the children march around in their costumes. Please see the Memo attached for more information.

Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest substance abuse awareness program. Millions of people celebrate Red Ribbon Week by wearing red ribbons, participating in community events, and pledging to live healthy lives. At CRS we celebrate by focusing on "Making Healthy Choices" for our bodies, minds and hearts as well as with a Halloween Spirit Week! Please see the flyer to see how we'll be celebrating!

Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, October 30th are Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences are in person, unless otherwise requested. These are very helpful meetings between a child's parents and teacher to discuss the student's progress, including academic, social, and emotional development. The teachers have emailed links to sign up for a conference. If you have any scheduling questions, please contact your teacher directly.
