The New Jersey Student Learning Assessment is a statewide assessment in New Jersey that tests students in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science to measure their progress towards meeting the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. These assessments are used to gauge student proficiency in critical skills, knowledge, and concepts necessary for college and career readiness. Grades 3, 4 and 5 will be taking the New Jersey State Learning Assessment tests the week of May 12th. May 12th and 13th will be the Language Arts section; the 14th through the 16th will be the Math section.
